We make the start with Cynatix Fleet as simple as possible.
Whether you manage a fleet of trucks, cars or other vehicles, installation takes just a few minutes and you can immediately benefit from all the features. Here you can find out how.
Once you have successfully placed your order, we will send you your device and the access codes for registration and activation on our platform.
If you already have a customer account, your e-mail address and password are required.
Please have your connector device and your vehicle registration certificate (Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil I) ready for the next steps.
Use Cynatix Fleet on your desktop or tablet via https://login.cynatix.io.
For your mobile device, download the Cynatix Fleet App from the Apple App Store (iOS 14.0 or higher) or the Google Play Store (Android 6 or higher).
If you already have a customer account, log in by entering your e-mail address and password. Click on "Log in".
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by clicking on "Forgot password". You will then receive an e-mail from us.
If you do not yet have a customer account, select "Register". Then enter the 16-digit product key that you will find on the first page of the instructions or scan the QR code by clicking on "Scan QR code".
Follow the instructions on the browser or in the app to complete your registration. We need the following information for successful registration:
- First name and surname
- Your telephone number
- Company name
- Your address
Once you have successfully logged in with your user account, you can register your vehicle and connect it to the device.
Click on the + symbol at the top right of your desktop and select the "Add new device".
In the app, you will be automatically redirected to device registration if you are doing this for the first time. For additional device registrations, click on the + symbol again in the navigation.
Make sure you have the plug and the vehicle registration document to hand so that you can carry out the next steps without any problems.
Each connector device has an ID-Number (IMEI). You will find it on the side of the connector and on the side of the packaging.
Please enter either the Connector-ID (IMEI) or the product key. Alternatively, you can use the app to scan the QR code. Simply click on "Scan QR Code".
Then click on "Continue".
If the device ID (IMEI) entered is not recognized, your device may not yet be registered, in which case please enter the 16-digit product key and follow the instructions in the app.
In the next steps, please enter the following information and click on "Continue":
- VIN
- License plate number
- Type
- Brand
- Model
- First registration
Check all entries to make sure everything is correct. If so, click on "Submit".
Tip: Enter only the essentials
If you have several vehicles, you can initially only enter the VIN, license plate number and vehicle type. You can also enter or change the remaining information for the vehicle profile later under "Vehicles".
Now you can simply plug your OBD2 connector into the OBD2 interface in your vehicle. We have already installed and activated the SIM card in the connector for you.
With its extremely small size, our connector is virtually invisible in your vehicle.
When the connector is plugged in, it works fully automatically and is already recording.
Tip: Find the OBD2 port in your vehicle
All vehicles with diesel engines from 2004 onwards and vehicles with petrol engines from 2001 onwards have a standardized OBD interface into which our OBD2 connector can be plugged. Please note that there may also be a cover over the slot. Typical positions of the OBD ports are:
- Area on the left below the steering wheel
- Area on the right below the steering wheel
- Area between steering wheel and footwell
- Center console
- Glove compartment
No OBD? No problem.
For all vehicles without an OBD interface, there is another device that you can also install yourself. To do this, simply attach the device to the vehicle battery in a few simple steps. The device can be used for all vehicle types, especially trucks.
